Fall and Winter are the best seasons to dress. Hands down. Inarguable. The outfits that present themselves during this season become endless as you sift through your coats, jackets, pants, and sweaters.
Today I’m talking strictly about bags. The bags that seem to shine brighter in the cold and bags that elevate your look beyond the standard trench and bubble coat.
Brandon has struck again with a captivating bag collection for Fall. I love this collection so much that it could be a separate post, but for now, I’m patiently waiting to acquire the Jasmine Bag. The bag was designed to last through all trends, it makes sense why it sold out shortly after their drop. An easy bag to pick up on the way out to any occasion, with a single top handle drawing the eye to the top of the bag. It’s a classic.
A truly iconic bag, Longchamp is a long-standing brand mainly known for its Le Pliage shoulder bag. I wouldn’t wear these as an everyday bag because I love a structured bag, but for an overnight bag or carry on it’s perfect. Quoted as ‘the affordable Hermes’, they have an elegant look about them without offering a month’s rent.
The Hourglass bags have been around for a couple of years now but their beauty is truly timeless. The sturdy curved trapezoid bag’s shape seems to pair well with the sharp Winter air. Unfortunately, my favorite version, the small maroon-grained calfskin, has been discontinued so run and get them now before they’re all gone.
I’ve had my eye on this chain-link shoulder bag for over a year. It’s a staple bag for stepping out of your house for a fun event like a museum date or holiday fair. It’s also a great option as an office bag as the medium size can fit your laptops, keys, wallet, etc.
Another affordable brand, the Telfar medium totes are great for a quick run out of your house or when you want a more casual luxury instead of glam. Their collaboration with UGG was to die for, to me at least. I wish I would’ve known about it sooner, who doesn’t love a matching shoe and bag moment?
They will forever own this oval-shaped bag. Doja Cat sold me on the look when she graced the red carpet with her glass swipe bag, but since seeing all the variations available I knew their leather bags were the perfect pairing for a chunky sweater in the Fall.
