At the beginning of my voyeur into luxury fashion Net-A-Porter was the only online curator I knew that catered to my budding tastes, but the Montreal-based curator, SSENSE, is the current rage amongst my fellow Gen Zs. It wasn't until last year when I heard of SSENSE and by the Fall I had already made my first purchase; you can see the unboxing of my Jacquemus Le Chiquito Moyen on my channel.
After spending hours sifting through multiple websites for similar products it became a no-brainer that this site was superior to most. Not only were a majority of the pieces found on SSENSE cheaper, but their brand selection accommodates a much younger audience than that of Net-A-Porter or FarFetch.
If you ever find yourself in Montreal be sure to book an appointment to experience the flagship store they opened in 2018. It is a 5 story brick-and-mortar that they boasts gives a 'seamless interface from online to offline', and after viewing the pictures, they definitely hit the mark on what I'd describe as the futuristic dark utopian vibes they portray online.
The best part of this brand has to be the constant sales they offer. Everything I've gotten from them has been on sale, anytime I wondered if it's actually worth it I've found it is cheaper than on the designer's website.
Overall I highly recommend trying out SSENSE if you haven't already and if you want to see some of my recent purchases from them you can look on my YouTube for my Midsize Luxury Summer Haul.
