It almost feels wrong to sit here and talk about my favorites of the month and encourage spending in a time full of economic uncertainty. But the truth is, I am not sure if I am ready to solely focus on the reality of what seems to be constant turmoil everywhere you look. For today, for the next three minutes at least, I want to keep it light. Give you something non-important to focus on, my October favorites.
This is not a product but you need to consider joining the movement. This is the sister challenge to 75 hard, there are still rules that need to be followed but not as strict as 75 hard. I’m two weeks in and there’s already been a huge difference in my lifestyle, as well as things I have noticed I want to keep or change after the challenge. I finish this on January 2nd and cannot wait to see my results.
Tiktok has done it again. This brand drew me in for a few reasons. Not only is it sustainable since it is made-to-order, but the aesthetic this brand has is everything a hyper-feminine woman loves in life. I may not wear as many sparkly dresses as I did as a child, but something about Santinni brings me the same joy I used to have as a little girl decked out in my puffy-sleeved princess dresses and mini fur coats. It is hard loving girly things when you don't have anywhere to wear them, but that's life I guess.
It is not the season for them but the second I saw these I knew I was going to get them one day. A simple and classic black heel with character. If I am lucky enough to land these soon I might give it a go in the Winter with a nice pair of pantyhose to match the season.
October weather welcomes the first leg warmers of the season. With ballet core raging on social media and runways it only makes sense that leg warmers have started popping up in my mind as a styling option. While I am not sure if I am ready to commit $950 to a pair of Miu Miu Ballerinas, I can commit to some decent leg warmers.
An American high school classic. I can’t determine if it’s the nostalgia that drew me to purchase a copy online or the nerves of reading a book that discusses a dystopian I fear is starting to parallel reality. Either way, I’ll let you all know next month.
