Time to say bye bye to boring, this years’ Fall RTW was everything but average for us viewers. The runways were full of life for what is usually one of the most basic seasons of the year. I don't follow too many trend fashion influencers, but I am excited to see what looks people flaunt this season. Here are some of the trends I'm expecting to be seen on our feeds:
Emphasized Cuffs and Collars
We might hold off on this one until it's colder later in the year, but bolder accents can be expected on our staple pieces.
Feathers
It seems like the average consumer is still hesitant to the thought of feathers, I believe it's for fear of a childish effect. However, our favorite designers aren't stopping and instead finding more tasteful methods to incorporate feathers in the main piece or as a dramatic accessory.
Statement Pantsuits
The days of the boring formal business woman are gone, we're moving towards a future of excitement in the professional setting. Going back to the office isn't appealing for many, but it doesn't mean you have to dim yourself.
Floorlength Scarfs
An oversized scarf will always be on trend, and heading into the colder seasons it always becomes a necessity.
Uncommon Knits
The similarity amongst knits this season is that there aren't any. They're across the board in your traditional presentations and some highly unlikely.
Abundant Trench Coats
While our wardrobes may still consist of neutral basics our outerwear doesn't need to. These trench coats off something new and eye catching, and I desperately wish I could add them all to my closet.
Fur Lined Aviators
This might be my favorite trend next to the trench coats. It's time to dust off your coats from 2017 because they are back and hopefully this time here to stay.
These commonalities are letting us know the time of simple comfort fashion are done and confirm that we as a society are trying to continue to live in this post pandemic world. The roaring 20s are making their way back and adding an extra shimmer or flare to your wardrobe are a the new way to showcase your budding new persona.
