Summer is officially coming and with it some exciting new pieces to appreciate. Here is a list of some of my favorite collaborations announced this season.
A rare gem in the industry, this collab focuses on embracing women in every shape and expression. It’s meant for the trailblazers who exhibit unapologetic authenticity. The seven piece comes in plus size friendly, ranging in sizes from EU 32-52.
One of my favorite designers, Stella McCartney, has joined forces with the iconic Hajime Sorayama. This collaboration blends the dependable classics from Stella with the futuristic feminine robots from Hajime. A lot of classic pieces to spruce up your casuals, and all made from responsible fabrics and materials.
The goal of this collaboration was to provide a top-to-toe capsule wardrobe that fits all lifestyles and I think they’ve hit the nail on the head. This collection has so much versatility in product offering and color combinations, that anyone can find an item they’d wear. It offers menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories. I’ve been debating buying shoes from On for a while and I think I’ve finally found a reason to indulge.
A smaller brand on this list, but Paloma Wool has proven to be a consistently appealing. There is always something about their pieces that pushes them beyond just basic, sometimes it’s something as simple as the stitching and finishing on their pierces. This collection is no different and photographer Alessandro Capria gets to see his pictures brought to life for the first time in the art of dress.
McLaughlin has been an exciting creative to follow since she blew up during the pandemic. Her unique observation of everyday items has been refreshing and has awarded her the opportunity to work with name brand active wear brands. This collection offers two different color combos and focuses on versatility and protection with our sneakers. As an avid Hoka user, I was extremely excited to see these drop.
Jenee worked for Target for over 11 years while also making content on the side. To see her grow to having her own collaboration with the brand is inspiring to people everywhere. This collection is full of elevated affordable classics, and you can tell it is heavily inspired by Jenee’s personal style.
Another On highlight comes from the collaboration with the powerhouse that is Zendaya Coleman. It’s paired with a film highlighting the power of community, the journey and strength in rising and falling as one. While there aren’t new pieces being dropped, shoppers can select from Zendaya’s edits of favorites.
